Video: Adding a STAT to the WEB-EHR
Using the Digital Transcription InfraWare system, a file can be marked as a STAT after it has been called in or uploaded to our office.
For instance, a physician has dictated a client note over the phone and then mentions that one of the notes is a STAT. A secretary can change the status to a STAT using these steps.
Or, this can also be done after a file was uploaded from a hand held dictation unit, but at the time of the upload it was not identified as a STAT. It can be updated as a STAT using these steps.

Template Setup for Chart Notes Printed on Sticky Paper
Summary Many physicians' offices dictate multiple patients' chart notes on one audio to be printed on Adhesive or "sticky" paper. This allows the office to print all of the notes as one document and cut out each chart note to stick/paste into each patient's chart. The challenge with sticky paper is ensuring that each note will end up on one page (not part on one page and part on the following page) when the job is printed. The chart note template needs to be set up to accommodate for this.
